I found this while doing a little digging. What I want to know is, what exactly is the 9630fts listed here? Looks identical to the 9630 except for the hardware ID. Any guesses?

I believe the "FTS" stands for either "for trade show" or "field trade show". My question is why are some sprint customers claiming that they received theses?

well today i got called into the office because a customer from kanas city cheifs had two tours and they could not be "updated" according to the customer. I go to the office and sure enough the models are fts. Where is everyone else finding these units. The customer said he knew someone at sprint so that explains why he had those editions. I took them home and they are sprint esns but the phone itslef is not branded. I used jl commander to wipe one of the phones but that damn thing refuses to load the os back on. Good thing two phones are already on order. Time to open them up
