Default BWC being phased out Oct.1....

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone else get an email about the Blackberry web client being phased out? It says we'll be able to make any changes we need off the device...

Curious as to what/why about this...

This change is only for T-Mobile. Basically to test out the features of the new BIS (BWC) before possibly doing the same for other carriers. Lots of new things coming out with it as you can see at http://www.t-mobile.com/bisupgrade

RIM is sending out PIN messages to all T-Mobile customers to inform them of the upgrade as well as send another PIN message to all T-Mobile customers who use the mail connector to get email from their corporate email account. This is because their is also an upgrade to the mail connector.

Love this part:

"Based on customer feedback Out of Office Reply, Auto BCC, and Auto Forward features have been eliminated."

Idiots.

Default interesting...

-All Yahoo! Mail accounts, including free accounts, are now supported.

That is very nice....I hope they push this to Nextel.
If they are doing this...I wonder if that means the new Yahoo BB messenger will be out at the same time?

Just an Idea,

L

The bottom of http://www.t-mobile.com/bisupgrade/ now says:

Based on customer feedback Out of Office Reply and Auto Forward features have been eliminated.

The Auto BCC feature will not be eliminated as part of this upgrade, and your Auto BCC settings will be automatically saved during the upgrade.
