Default Unable to retrieve Picture MMS?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I've been unable to retrieve picture MMS on my 8320 for the past month...it says "unable to retrieve, try again later". I try later and it still doesnt work. I spoke to T-mobile and they had me try all sorts of things, even a SIM card swap. Finally a T-mobile rep told me its because BB has been having issues for the past three weeks and that they currently have technicians working on it. Does anyone know if this is true? Is anyone else having the same problem? I've also been unable to install BB messenger and the rep said this is probably because of the BB issue with MMS.

Thanks!

Welcome to BB Forums.

I call BS on this. You should be able to install BB Messenger, in fact, it is part of the handheld OS. It has nothing to do with MMS.

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan?

What version of the handheld OS do you have installed (Options / About will show that).

Try sending yourself a MMS. sometimes this will reset "something" and it will work

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the replies, I tried all that (sending myself an MMS, deleting my debug list, new SIM etc...nothing works!)...Yeah, I thought that about messenger also, because I had it before but it got deleted when I had to wipe my BB to try and fix the MMS problem...now when I try and download it it says my BB (8320) isnt compatible!!

I have version 4.2.2.180 which is latest for T-mobile...

And yes, I do have a BB data plan...everytime I call T-mobile they give me a different answer...

GO PISTONS!

I have the same problem with my 8100, but I notice it is just with t-mobile people, because I have been able to recieve mms from verizon, us celluar, etc., but just not from t-mobile. I just gave up because most of the people I know who has t-mobile know a lot of the same people as me, so I end up getting the mms from one of my other friends.
