DNoble, I wouldn't call this software novice friendly.

I know, everytime I think I have all packages installed, I try to install the SDK, and it says that I am still missing another package. I think I installed about 5 different requisites already.

Hmm... I didn't think of that, may give it a try. It wouldn't even install, so I'm guessing that compatibility mode won't work. Most of the time compatibility mode won't fool the installer into installing on a non-supported OS. Worth a try though.

UPDATE: Tried launching the installer in "Windows XP Service Pack 2" mode, and it still fails with the message "Plazmic Content Developer's Kit is supported on Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional. The platform you are currently installing on is not supported." Looks like I'll be using my XP laptop after all.

So all this talk about modifying themes has got me thinking. I couldn't find anything about this elsewhere, so I figure here's a good place... how legal do y'all think it is to re-distribute a modified version of a theme? I'm not looking to rip a theme that someone else has made, but let's say I modify the Dimension Today Plus theme and decide to share it... I can imagine that'll violate a few copyrights...wouldn't it?

I would guess (im not a lawyer) That if they make the tools available, and you modify it, you then own the content.

Where it gets funny, is the "look and feel" of the theme. iphone theme catches heat because it simulates look and feel.
