Default BB Pearl & SureType

Hi Everybody,

I also can't wait to get one. Currently have a BB 7130e which has 'SureType' which I now really like to use .

Hope everyone realizes that the BB 8100 also has SureType !!

Just thought it should be said.

My only real problem with SureType is that I find myself constantly switching beween three input methods to type what I want. The Multi-tap confirmation is getting more annoying by the day...

Geez, that 8100 is small as all get out - its the same size as some Sony Erricsson candybars! It's the same size as the Chocolate...

Thanks for sharing the pictures Boy Genius. I can't wait until it is released. That's one hot item. I truly believe that it'll sell better than the SideKick3!!!!!!

I made some color and balance corrections while reducing the overall sizes of the images:

I just can't get over how it compares size wise to the RAZR!!! Outstanding. Hey Verizon, get with the program here, Christmas is right around the corner.......

The 8100 is SUCH a nice looking BB. But 8700 wins for me for the simple reason that I love the full keyboard and I hate suretype. But it is a nice stride towards a media centered, sleek BB.

Talk about setting the bar low! Let's hope it captures more market share than that.

I wonder if RIM will get their version of AIM out when the 8100 comes out, which would be a double whammy against the Sidekick.

8100 screen is 240 x 260
8700 screen is 320 x 240
7130 screen is 240 x 260

8100 and 7130 are the same size it sounds and the 8100 is def a lot thinner

It does appear that the 8100 screen is smaller than that of the 7130...
