You know, I tried to warn you. Let us know when the smoke starts coming out of the USB port...

As for your charging indicator, what theme are you using? If it's a third-party theme you got from here or another site, it might not be 100% compatible w/4.5.

You should do a battery pull to see if that helps...

I do have another quick question. Since my house hold has 3 BB's can download and install the update for each model on 1 PC? Do I have to go in and remove each version of the OS for the different phones? Or with the DM choose the correct OS to install.

I have a 8100,8130,8310 at the house.

Thanks
Chris

The DM will know which OS applies to which device...it won't try to install the 8130 OS on an 8100, and vice-versa.

issue with the speakerphone on .101 prior to that with .9x worked great. the Dumbass preloaded startup screen for the browser does not recognize the device, well worth the upgrade just for the docs to go. If you look up on on sprint forums they keep saying they are in the testing phase of the new platform...
cant wait to get home to jump .089
hope this rambling helps fellow sprinter!!

If you mean any version of 4.5, folks (including me) have been running that for weeks, and I haven't had any significant issues. This release seems quite good so far.

I didn't notice there was a new version so it probably should have gone in the last thread. I stopped receiving emails yesterday and then the hour glass started appearing every few seconds, causing everything to freeze when it was displayed.
I had to downgrade to 4.3 to get things working again.

For folks going to 4.5 for the first time may need to reformat their SD, look for old themes that may not be compatible and there are some 3rd party apps that have been known to act up.

Well I've been running 4.5.0.89 for a couple of days now and everything seems great. My youtube issue seems to have sorted itself out. And I have noticed an improvement in the battery life. Of course I could have just had a quiet couple of days

All in all well worth upgrading to.

My $0.02 worth.

Downloading now. I was surprised to see that Alltel is finally keeping up with the 4.5 updates. Took them long enough.

Anyone have a list of updates for this OS?

Odd thing was I had been running 4.5 for a couple weeks without issues then it started happening. Turned out the 4.3 install didn't actually install the 4.3 despite being the only one installed on the system (removed all other blackberry installs) as the about screen still shows 4.5.0.77. Everything is working again though, so I'll just stick with current version until I find out from Sprint when they'll be releasing 4.5

One thing I've noticed is my html email loads all the images now. This is the first 4.5 release that does that--the others only loaded some of the images.

.77 was the first that loaded all images in HTML emails for me.

Default I have done this on a Verizon and works well

Have Documents to Go (standard) and is OK. Have done a have dozen T-Mobile Curves and rave reviews. People (esp young parents) love the video camera.

Have been on a version of 4.5 for several months, and loaded 4.5.0.89 last night. Everything is good so far. Noticed they cleaned up/reduced the font in the media player for music.

Oh - that's what you meant.

Yeah - they can sometimes take a while between versions showing up, and other times they pop up like popcorn.
