Default 8820 Wifi Problems

Please Login to Remove!

I am pleased to a BlackBerry 8820 owner. My problem is that I can not get the WiFi to work. It is not seeing that there are new works out there. As I am writing this I'm sitting underneath my wireless router, but the BlackBerry see's nothing. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Is your router broadcasting its SSID? If not, you can set-up network connection manually by inputting your router's SSID and security key, if applicable.

If you run 'Scan for Networks' and it does not return your wireless router in the list, it could be configuration of your WiFi router.

What are 'new works' that blackberry does not see I don't know.

router should be 802a/b/g not N, now that in mind go to settings>security settings>vpn>disable.
options>mobile network>data> On
browser>options>browser config>wifi Browser
thats it.

Doesn't matter if router is Wireless-N, as this is backwards compatible with wireless-b & -g. . .

I'm connecting through WiFI Hotspot Login and having no trouble. Have you tried this way?
