Just soliciting some feedback from anyone who has tried the .184 device software with UMA.

Works fine for me. However, I've had a few random reboots that I didn't have with any of the other versions.

The thread about this OS in the 8300 forum has more feedback. For me it seems to be better at acquiring the UMA connection. Under .180 I had to coax it to pick up the wifi network at times. With this one it does it on its own except when I had Yahoo! Go installed, it once had problems getting to UMA.

Since the Yahoo uninstall, it seems ok.

Cool ya I saw that thread, thanks. I was looking for any specific UMA feedback with that OS.

Ha! I went with the v23 SP2....was the latest in the "stable" list.

As well you should, the newer ones are a moving target and have their own bugs, running 2.4 isn't advised unless you're into tinkering and wanting to deal with stuff. They've been coding 2.4 for like a year, who know when it'll ever release.
