It may be a bug fix.

Is it still an Alpha or is it now a Beta?
It's been in Alpha for a while now..

Does it now have podcast capabilities? That's what I'm hoping the next version will have. I've been trying to find a good free podcast program without luck, so I'm yearning for Viigo to hurry and activate that feature for the BlackBerry. So let me know if it has active podcast now.

The Alpha has podcasts, but it's only an Alpha..

I'm not gonna be updating till I see a beta

That's very great news, I think I will keep an eye out for the beta myself. I hope they make it compatible with the hopefully soon to be released BlackBerry OS 5.0.

I have been running this Alpha version since it leaked out and I don't see any bugs with it.

BB browser says 1.3MB when downloading. Hope this fixes the problem I have on my Storm that the screen goes blank when viewing posts in portrait mode.

Edit. Doesn't fix that problem BUT for the first time I didn't have to enter my username/password after an install. Nice one.

Why do people rave about Viigo? I've downloaded it a few times to see what the fuss is about and end up deleting it every time because it is rubbish.

The original Viigo was great.. however now it seems to be getting a big bloated.. I mean hearing about pod casts a year ago was great but now their is just so much more in there. :(

But then again I'm not running a new BB, maybe Tango was designed with the newer BB's in mind.. with the faster processor/more memory and all.

Well I have to say that I find Viigo to be a better RSS feeder, I've tried a few and always come back to Viigo and it has won a few awards (don't remember now). A lot of people like it. And yes the newer version I believe performs much better on the newer phones with more memory and processing power. On my Bold its a dream and I like the interface.

I think it is a bit bloated though, but I guess they are trying to put as much in as possible to catch as much user base as possible. I would like to see what they now offer in the way of podcasts.

Just because you don't have a use for it, or can't figure it out, doesn't make it rubbish.

As for being bloated - I agree. But its easy enough to remove all the services from the main menu and use JUST the RSS.
