Default DM question

Please Login to Remove!

I am running DM 4.7 and i was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way to disable the Device check it does when you first connect the bb? I have syncing turned off for when you first connect, but it still checks to see if the OS needs to be updated. Can that be disabled?? Thanks

The only way to disable it, afaik, is to uninstall and re-install Desktop Manager and uncheck that option during the install.

well i did exactly as you suggested, but I think that's for the DM software to look for its own updates, NOT the bb, for OS updates, as it still does it as indicated in the screenshot...thanks tho

I haven't found a way to turn it off yet... If you do find a way, let us know.
