Default Nextel 7520 unable to email Nextel Customer

Please Login to Remove!

I was always able to email people if they had Nextel wit [email address], now I get error messages 3 days later saying Delivery failed, I can email them from my work with the same email address and it goes through, but just not on my blackberry. Is there an issue with my phone? Is the 7100 going through the same issues? I know they have text message capability, I just want this issue to be resolved. The only way nextel customers get my email is if I email them at [email address]

ive always had no problem emailing other Nextel Subscribers just as long as I use that specific format (@messaging.nextel.com). Ive done it for over a year, plus its not via text, its an actual email. I called blackberry support and they could not give me a direct answer.

Have you been able to send any emails from the bb? If you scroll up on the RED X emails, what is the error being noted.

For the record, messaging and page are the same service for nextel. Messaging TO a BB on nextel doesn't seem to work wherein page.nextel works to BB's on nextel. I used to use the messaging on an old i85 and when I bought a 6510, I had to start telling people to page me via the page.nextel address.

it doesnt give me a red X, it gives me an email 3 days later stating that Message Rejected, message to old. When Im on my work email, it works on emailing messaging.nextel.com, but on my phone, the receipient never receives it, The solution I found was page.nextel.com works but they can not reply, and it allows only so many chracters before cutting off the message. Im really happy with the 7520 but would like to resolve this....

But yes to answer your question, I have no problems sending emails to other carrier services (even Sprint) but Nextel subscribers with nextel.messaging can not receive my emails (they have motorola since that is the only other carrier besides RIM). The funny thing is, that its always worked and Ive never had issues in the past.

Must be something with the blackberry service from Nextel. Next time you try it, look at the send from (Desktop, BES, Web client, etc). Must be something there.

So does the TELEFLIP work with any carrier?
