Hi, Does anyone know if its true that if you use alt p it will retrieve deleted call logs and text logs even if you havent backed them up, I have also heard if you hit ther green send key twice it will bring up dialed calls even if youve deleted them, is this true? Also, is it possible to download google earth to the blackberry curve? Thanks for any information.

al p does nothing. If you tap the send key twice it brings up the call log, but not deleted ones. In regards to Google Earth, I've never tried but doubt it.

Alt P in the Message application will bring up all call logs - but only those that haven't been deleted. You'll see more call logs this way then you will by clicking on the phone/Call Log icon.

hi, thanks for the respone. Just want to make sure there that when you delete call and text logs that they are gone for good and there is no way to find the numbers who you have sent texts and the numbers you have called. why do you doubt the downloading? Is it possible to download anything on the curve. I dont actually have one yet, probably purchasing one tomorrow. Thanks.

Hmmm....sounds like someone should probably consider who they are calling. Here is a way to get the numbers, it's some work but it can be done.

You can erase this "evidence" as well by hitting ALT + LGLG and then pressing Menu>CLear Log.

If my Data Services=OFF and I execute "ALT + LGLG and then pressing Menu>CLear Log" does this mean that our BES administrator would not be able to read confidential SMS/Calls even when i switch back to Data Services=ON?
