Default Google Maps

Please Login to Remove!

I just got the unlimited data transferring, I hear many people here talk about using google maps. Now, I went to the BB browser and I went to maps.google.com now it only displays text directions..how can i enable it to display satellite views and stuff..it is possible right? I'M SUCH A NOOB, its my first BlackBerry, and so far I'M LOVIN' IT!!

You have to download and install the mobile version onto your BB. I don't remember where it's located.

To view cool sat imagery you need the google maps mobile installed.
www.gmail.com/gmm google maps mobile client
www.gmail.com/app gmail mobile client while you're at it.

Waiting on gcalendar now, c'mon google.

I wish we could have google calendar sync that really worked not like the one thats out now ( i forget the name of it )

Yes - the GPS puck is different from the earpiece. You can find them relatively cheap on eBay. If your device already has GPS built in you won't need a puck though.

If itxxx8217;s a receiver youxxx8217;re looking for then I would recommend the GPSlim236 from Holux.

Yes......definitely!!!! I have the 236b and I am sooooo impressed with it. I would recommend this gps to anyone!
