how i can read my password in case i forget it ??

You can't. If you forget it and can't remember it, once you enter it incorrectly the set number of times (10 by default), the device will wipe clean. You will have to restore it from a backup that you hopefully have done on a regular basis.

yea like Mama said there is no way to read it if you froget it. thats why its always a good idea to write your password down somewhere so just in cases like this you can remember it. sorry to hear bout your situation

Why have a password if you're going to write it down somewhere? I definitely don't recommend doing that.....

That's why people should make frequent backups of their device so that everything can be restored if they forget their password or if someone else tries to guess it wrong 10 times.

i was just sayign that because i kno that every once in a while i have a brain fart i forget the password and if i at least have it written down in a secure place i can just go and find it. but hey maybe thats just me

You laugh, but I can go around our office (a secure law enforcement facility) and find passwords under keyboards on several workstations (including supervisors). It is one of the first things they teach you in seizing electronic evidence - look for the password list.
Human nature I guess.

We do business code of conduct training every 6 months or so, and not writing down passwords is a big thing they push at us, which is understandable. They specifically say do not write it down on a post it or hide it under your keyboard.

I use my password daily, so I don't think I will forget it, even though it is changed once a month. Others before have not locked their computers and coworkers have used their computers to go onto their own accounts and put on credits. This all ended in termination of course.

Same here, and most of my passwords have to be over 14 characters.

Unfortunately that isn't just you. But it's still bad practice. There is no doubt in my mind someone will do exactly what you said and then post on these forums "Help, someone is spying on me". Probably has already happened here a few times.

A piece of paper in your wallet it good. Just don't list details about what each password is for. Maybe a hint like "em" for email, "bl" for Bloomberg, etc.
