Default Opera Mini, Everyone or just me?

Please Login to Remove!

For whatever reason Opera Mini stopped working on my Pearl. It worked yestereday, and today it will not connect to the network. I have run the network setup several times, but no luck.

However my Blackberry Browser works fine...

I am on T-Mobile... I am thinking maybe they changed the APN?

I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem, or if it is just me.

Thanks,
Korexz

Default Nevermind...

Apparently I was running 3.0 and 3.1 was released...

Installed the new version over the old and running the network test right now... I will update when I finally get this connected... or not...

This happened to me a dew days ago, I'm with T-Mobile. The APN had change back to the default for some reason, so you might want to double check it.

A specific setting is required to enable Opera Mini to access the Internet on a T-Mobile Blackberry:

From your Blackberry homescreen, go to Options, then Advanced Options, then TCP. Under APN, enter "wap.voicestream.com". Leave Username and Password blank.

Well... after running the 11 network tests I still failed to connect... so maybe we need to look beyond the 3.1 upgrade and look back at the APN again...

Who figured out the APN in the first place?

I remember that when I got the opera mini browser the first time I got it from a site other than operamini.com ... Does anyone know if there is a blackberry specific version somewhere?

Uninstall it, then reinstall it, see if that works.

Nope, no luck with either APN...

Any other bright ideas?

I see some KICK messages in the blackberry log... indication that we might need a username/password?

T-Mobile Phone Config site is also showing the APN as internet2.voicestream.com... at least it is that way for the Dash, because there is no listing for RIM or Blackberry...

ARG!

I depend on the Opera browser so much ... this is NOT FUN!

Not working in seattle either, plus Im getting error messages about modules wanting to operate outside the firewall, so something is mighty strange.
