Default 2 Questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all- i recently heard about this forum so thought what better place to ask for assistance and save me time googling answers on the net.
Can someone assist me with these 2 questions i have regarding my BB 9700

* I set my gmail account to my BB- is there a way to "log out" of my e-mail and then when i want to or need log in again?
* Is there a way to put an MP3 on to your phone and trim that song to say 30 seconds for a ringtone to get a specific part of that song to play as ringtone?

Thanks in advance!!!!

To edit an mp3 and make it a ringtone, I use Adobe Audition on my PC to cut the part that I want then raise the audio level for it to sound better on a phone.

If you need help on how to use it lemme know.

But an easy guide.....

Import the file into Adobe Audition by clicking FILE then IMPORT.

Select the MP3 song that you want

Double click on the title of the mp3 song in the adobe audition window. then you will see the progress wave lenght of the full song. carefully select that part that you want, then right click, then copy to new

now you have another title of the song, click it to see the new progress bar

Edit more if you need to pin point a particular part then copy to a new file again

last, click effects, then amplitude, incrase it by +3 or +6 , do not let the sound wavelenghts exceed the maximum other wise you will hear distortion

finally , save your new mp3

now you have a custom ringtone of any file
