Default Storm wont prompt for mass storage mode

Please Login to Remove!

all my settings in options>memory are right for mass storage mode to prompt when plugged in to the pc from the usb cable... but it doesn't... the settings are as follows:

Media Card Support: On
Encryption Mode: None
Media Card Protocol (MTP): On
Mass Storage Mode Support: On
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Prompt

I have had blackberrys for the past 5 years... I'd like to think I know most there is to know about my device and blackberry software... does anyone know of anything I should delete in my Service Books that might be holding this up? I did a hard reset and backup/restored my device and that still didn't work. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall my Device Manager and see if that fixes the problem right now... thank you for any input you may have

If you have a password on your phone make sure it's unlocked before you plug in. Also what computer OS are you running?

perfect! Thanks for the help. Fixed mine right up.

I can't believe I wasted the day trying to update my phone and desktop manager when all I needed was this file!
