im not receiving any messages either, have done several batt pulls. any other suggestions? could it be verizon? or BB

ok at least its not just me. guess theyll fix it when they get around to it... really annoying though. if i needed to take an outage like this at work and didnt send out notification first id be fired. im sure it wouldnt be impossible for them to identify who was going to be affected and send out a PIN message warning them

I got 2 emails together this morning that had been sent last night at different times. The last email I got on my 8830 was at 4:58 this morning, but there's 2 emails sitting in my Yahoo mail box that haven't reached my BB yet. I'm in western NC/Alltel. I've got no problems with the phone or sms text. My fiance (on Verizon) did receive my email I sent to her this morning on her Curve.

No ATT BIS email access in Alexandria, VA (near Washington, DC). Tried battery bull, sim card pull, resend service books, etc.

Just realized there appear to be two issues in this thread -- 10/24 AM and 10/25 AM. There is another thread on today's problem (10/25).

No email in or out in Newark, NJ area (internet is working). Upgraded this morning and did a battery pull but still nothing. Same issue has been posted in the Blackberry Owners Lounge.

How do we report it to RIM?

where in the US are you? wonder if this is affecting only a specific area

I sent an email to my blackberry address and have received it on my bb 3 times now (only sent it once) but cant send any out. Also my 8330 keeps showing data activity.

I am thinking this is much left over from the scheduled RIM maintenance from early this morning.

I am able to send a PIN to PIN message, however BIS mail is not sending or receiving now. It was, for me, earlier this AM.

Sounds like the good news is that a lot of folks didn't notice early since it's Saturday and it seems to be starting to come back (even though it may be just one message at a time!)

Pretty much the same scenario for me too. I'm on Sprint.
No email since after midnight (Chicago) but just got one that was about an hour stale.
Also can login to BB Email Settings now where I couldn't earlier.

Very limited or no email service in SW Floirda (Verizon). I called BlackBerry at 9.00 AM and they said NO OUTAGES anywhere. I called Verizon and they said after hunting around for a while that BlackBerry was reprting 18.9% of customers had no email and they did not know when it would be fixed!

Hi, I just spoke to T-Mobile Support and there is a known issue with a RIM network wide, A maintenance run early this morning screwed up. They are expecting recovery this afternoon.
