Default Verizon Data Server Down

Please Login to Remove!

All of my email addresses disappeared from my phone. One a @vzw.blackberry.net the other a school address. The rep told me the data servers are experiencing issues but my email folders should not have disspeared from my device.

Anybody with these issues today or ever?

She didn't know, are all of my vzw.blackberry.net emails lost forever? Why do they not have an online login for these emails?

That is news here... let's see if anyone else reports this issue.

But honestly, it should not clear your email addresses. Are you on BIS?

One data outage issue was reported on VZW in the Baltimore area this AM, and it cleared up pretty quickly.

Meanwhile, try resending your service books...

No problem here. And as for the BB email, most people don't use them, there is no spam filtering and you can only get them from the BB.

Not sure if I'm BIS, its not connected to a corporate network if that answers it.

I reconnected 1 of my email addresses hosted at school so that isn't lost but I can't setup my vzw.blackberry.net address. I prefer it to gmail bc i use the gmail app and wanted an address to send random messages too and I stored my calendar in there.

Service books didn't work. I'll just wait i guess.

The interesting thing about this, when i setup my school address again, the icon went in the exact same spot it was before. It didn't appear at the end like most new icons do.

Have you pulled the battery on your BB, (with it powered on, don't turn off the BB first) and replaced the battery to reboot?

Same thing happened to me. Lost all email accounts on my 8830, including one vzw.blackberry.net account.

Tried to go to BIS website, but it rejected my login. I had to create a new BIS account...weird thing is, it accepted the same username I had used before, as if it had not previously existed!

I've added the email accounts, and am waiting for service books.

What the hell is going on....

no issues in atlanta I am getting all my emails and I am able to log into bis have been all day

I had an issue. I had to call VZW and they had to remove my BIS account and re-add it to my device. This began on Saturday night and I resolved it Monday morning. I couldn't login to BIS on a PC either or on my device. Kept saying "check your info and try again" when I put my ID and PW in there. VZW rep was confused and didn't know why...but it's fixed. Sorry for the late reply, but just noticed this. Hope it helps!
