I just bought an 8703e for Verizon. I was told that there is downloadable software available for this phone for hands-free, wireless voice-activated dialing. Where do I get that (assuming it really is available)? Thanks

Rumor has it this will be made available with the release of the 4.2 OS

The program they were talking about was most likely mobile voice control. It can be found via google...I would post the link but I don't have 10 posts.

I checked at the MobileVoiceControl site and they show this software to work only with Nextel. I have a Verizon. Do you have newer information about system requirements and compatibility?

I know it worked on my Sprint 7250 despite what the site says...that is all the experience I have with the program. There is a free trial so I would backup the device and if it doesn't work uninstall or revert.

Take out my spaces and this should be the req's. Says it only works on Sprint? They are both CDMA carriers so I would still give it a shot.

it works fine on the verizon 8703, is it worth it.. I don't think so.. (makes a phone call each time you use it apparently)..

ymmv though.. so have fun!
