Unhappy Problems with restoring contacts

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I can'r restore my 3000 contacts.
Back up of my Bold 9900 has been made regularly.

However, when restoring all my 3000 contacts in a new device, ( a new 9720 ) I can't flag the contacts....so I have no idea how to update my contacts in the second device.
any reason ?
Any help from anyone ?

To be more precise only contacts can't be flag....all the rest can be regularly flag and restored.

Tks for helping me.

My best suggestion is to sync your contacts to a server like gmail.com or outlook.com.

Are you connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server by chance?

Syncing to a cloud service is definitely the way to go. Every ecosystem is pushing folks from local syncing to cloud-based sync. It's also much easier than any other method.

If you go into your Contacts app press the Menu Key and select Options, is there anything listed under Contact Lists?

Sorry JSCONYERS but I can't understand what you recommend.
I can go to Contacts, pressing Menu Key and options.......but I see different options listed, like
- modify how to see contact list
- recent activities
- contacts ( here I have 3 different set of contacts, which I would like to unify.....)

Is this the menu you mean ?
Tks

Yes, that is correct. In any of those sets of contacts, is wireless sync enabled?

So you cannot highlight the 3 sets of contacts you see or select them? Normally you can and it will show you the number of entries in that Contact List and their may be an option for Wireless Sync as well.

I can see 3 different sets, and I can select each individual but not all together. However clicking on each one I can only see the number of entries, but no menu available. Just change application or close this window. That's all. No way to group the 3 sets in one only. Any new suggestion ??
