I keep trying to install BBM 5 from App World, but it says there was an error with the install. Anyone else having the same issue or know how to fix it? Tried restarting phone and nothing works.

What is the error you got? Did you do a battery pull or just turn the phone off and back on? Do a battery pull if you didn't already.

This is an easier option. I have been sending people to Blackberry App World.

If you are having issue in sending and receiving pictures , don't send it from the media or from the cam after taking the pic , send it from the chat window by pressing the bb button then choose send a picture , tell the ppl who are sending to you as well

Does anyone know how view other people's bb photo on your bb messenger 5.0? I am getting tired of the default picture. I do not want to sync with the facebook. Is there another way?

Also, if you download from App World, do a reset, then go to your "My App World" and do the install

I have a blackberry 8900
I installed messenger 5.0.0.33 (upgraded it from the previous version)
i cant' find the set alert option it it
when i send a message, it shows not delivered because there is no "D" sign on the xxx8730; mark
I have tried reinstalling - about 4 times
I used jL commander to clear the system and reinstalled using a backup
Nothing happens
in teh manual , this option is there as available
What am I doing wrong.
i tried the BB forum on the official site but never got a response
please help
