Dented can means that the metal shield that is put in place to protect the circuit is dented...that would be regarded as impact damage & will void the warranty. If it isn't water damaged then just replacing the trackpad may solve your problem & its easy to do & not very expensive

Hi... My 9300 3G device memory ate itself out, fone freezes every 3min and bbm crashes sometimes due to critically low memory. Its currently sitting on 100% even though the apps I have personally installed dnt even take up more than 10mb( more like 6.8mb since I've deleted a lot), rebooting doesn't help. Its very stressful esp when I miss an important fone call when fone freezes. My 2gb memory card is currently at 1.3gb and I doubt its affecting the device on that regard.

Someone here mentioned going to 0PTIONS> STATUS> DATABASE "something" where I can check my apps according to size etc, but my options menu is different( shows preferences and reset settings). I know the memory shud be 256mb but somehow mine seems to using the 32mb limit. I also know the issue is not my apps but sumn else. Please help... Thanks!

Looking at my device memory, it says the whole 256mb has been used( 160.9 by application and 95 by other). How do I find out what the "other" is so I can clean my memory

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account? If you do not, contact your carrier for more information.

Hi Everyone,

Just got a BB Curve 9300 and ever since I started using the device, it is exhibiting some strange behaviour. When on charge phone works ok, but when on battery only, it continually persists in going through the re-boot cycle. If I switch off Network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, re-booting cycle stops.
I have researched the issue on the web and have done the following : upgraded and downgraded OS ( currently using OS 6, bundle 2949). Have plenty of memory available. I am very new to Blackberry, so I hope there is something obvious I am overlooking.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Hello, I hope this is the right spot to post questions.
I have a BB 9300. I also have a rocketstick (PITA) I am not under a contract with the rocketstick any longer. I only get 2 bars of strength when at home, due to living in a rural area.
I want to use my BB 9300 as my modem with my laptop and forget the rocketstick.
Another person in our house uses a phone as their rocketstick modem, transfer the SIM card from the rocketstick into the phone.LG something..WOW...amazing connection and strength. Tried the same with my SIM card and laptop..AMAZING!!. So now, I want to use my BB 9300 with my SIM card from my rocketstick, transfer to my BB and use it for my modem.
How do I do this? I have the LG loaded on my laptop, but can't get my BB 9300 to start the internet?
Thanks, all info very much appreciated!

No, this isn't the right place, but to answer, you need a BlackBerry data plan.
