I only have this problem with one of my contacts. I can receive their messages just fine. However their D's never turn into R's when i read them. Also, they cant receive any of my messages.

The problem started suddenly. We both tried everything from battery pull to deleting and re-inviting the contact to even deleting and reinstalling the BBM software with no luck what so ever. Could anyone please help me with that

Are either of you activated on a corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server?

I'm not sure what a Blackberry Enterprise Server is but we only started having this problem two days ago. Every thing was working fine before then.

Check with your friend and ask them if they are activated on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. If you don't know what it is, then it probably doesn't apply to you.

I understand that. If your friend is on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, then some controls might have been put in place to stop things from functioning as they were.

I don't know if this could be the reason. but the problem started while I was sending multiple PING!!!'s (like a 100 lol) I was trying to wake them up. half way doing that I stopped getting D's only check marks. do you think that could be it?
