I never realized how bad this problem is until I ran some tests with my 8120 (4.5.0.297). I tested both the newer Hi-Port router (WRTU54G-TM), as well as the older WRT54G-TM, which has been flashed with DD-WRT (v24-SP2 build 12548). I tested DD-WRT with the settings optimized for UMA, and the "Bluetooth Coexistence Mode" both enabled, and disabled. For headsets, I tested an older Motorola H710, and a new Jawbone Prime. After placing about 10 UMA calls with each headset, with each router, 100% of the calls were transferred to EDGE within 1-4 minutes after connecting. Only one of the calls was dropped, but I've got good cell signal at the house, which many UMA users are not so fortunate. For me, the problem arises during the hand-off, when there's a few seconds of bad communication, and then after the call ends, because it can take several minutes for UMA to re-enable. My wife racks up thousands of UMA minutes each month for business calls, and for her to be constantly monitoring the "UMA" indicator carries a huge wife approval factor penalty. For now, I've given up on BT and switched to a corded headset (yuck), but UMA works perfect, with either router.
