Hi all,
There seems to be a big mess up with the new BBM6 updates. To me it seemed to be more of a downgrade that took up more space & slowed my 8520 down & also omitted the Show What I'm Listening To feature on the .125 version of the update. After updating I was not very happy with the update & seeing as how RIM does not make the previous versions available for us to downgrade in the event of their screwups I decided to delete it & re-install via Desktop Manager. The older versions takes up less space & is way more reliable with all the features that we have become accustomed to.
I have read the reviews on the .129 version before attempting to update & see that all they have changed is the What I'm Listening to feature BUT many that have updated have even bigger problems with some having trouble sending messages or their contacts have been deleted & the icon\pic either being too big or not being there @ all.
Whats happening guys?????
This is very disappointing!!!!
@ least make the option of been able to downgrade to BBM5 available to those that are having trouble with the new versions & please make hast in sorting out the bugs.
I have a feeling that the BBM is having these issues due to compatibility with both OS5 & OS6 so if it cannot work efficiently on both then its time to make separate versions maybe.
Please RIM sort this out asap.
