I just saw the video. The main differences are trackpad and wifi.

Interesting but clearly biased.

Default may sell the current Tour and the new one

now that BB Messenger 5.0 allows you to send up to 6MB... Wi-Fi makes a great difference. I've tried sending files with the 3G and it can take about 40 Min... And frankly I haven't been impressed with the 3B Speeds except for when using phone as modem which has become more difficult...

Also I think the Tour 2 may get a battery upgrade, the 9700 has a larger battery at 1500mAh vs 1400mAh(Tour)

Default new tour

I currently own the Tour and will most likely by the new Tour... But I feel like the first Tour was a Prototype... Also questions if RIM is confused now as they are confusing people... It's almost like here's the unfinished Tour buy it now... Then wait a second, we have WiFi and have solved your Trackpad issues...

It's not really excusable as the first Tour was launched at the same time the 8520 on Tmobile was launched that had the Trackpad and WiFi... So why did RIM Wait so long to make the change?

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

They wanted to test the trackpad on a lesser quality model so they wouldn't get "egg" on their face if the trackpad didn't work out.

look like RIM May roll out the Tour 2 as soon as they can. Carriers are report %50 of Tours purchased have been returned... as seen in this PCworld article Analyst: 50% Return Rate for Blackberry Tour - PC World

Super accurate reporting there. I have been touching the screen on my Tour over and over and over again and nothing happens either. Maybe I should send it back???

Here is a funny response to the article... "Looks like I pick the wrong week to stop sniffing glue!"

50%???????? Hahahhahahahaha. I'm laughing so hard right now, I may piss my pants. I can't believe anyone out there would even write and post such an article. I think this guy is sniffing more than glue. I think he needs to stop doing lines of coke off his Iphone and go seek help.

that's a funny article... even more funny is that the article only had 2 comments.... From the Author of the article Daniel Black and the analyst he slammed David Eller...
