Smile Ringtone Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone. I just recently purchased a Blackberry 8310 Curve from AT&T. I'm trying to install ring tones but I'm having a hard time with it. It seem that when it rings, it only plays for a few seconds pauses then starts all over. Is there a setting on the phone you have to change? If anyone can help out, that would be great.

Thanks

Anthony

This is a snippet from Oakie's post from that thread it may help.

"and people may also use a full song they have in their playlist... a song that may be recorded at a higher bitrate that will not be able to xfer fast enough to play more than a couple seconds. and to those people, i recommend reducing the sampling rate to 128kbps max with VBR compression. this will give them a relatively high quality mp3 recording with the smallest file size so it caches quickly for ringtone use AND sounds good for playlist use."
