I have a BB 8130 Curve. I also have a Motorola H700 bluetooth headset. It works fine with the phone calls but it will not work with my media player. I have to use the earphones that came with my curve. Now this can't be formal. I've looked at the Properties of my headset and it says that the services are : Hands-Free Unit and Headset.
Got any ideas.

Dude, you're kidding right...??

You CAN'T listen to your media player using the bluetooth headset. Hence the earphones....

Not for the Curve or any Blackberry for the matter.

Someone correct if I'm wrong...

As a blanket statement, you are incorrect. There are bluetooth headsets that will allow for the Media Player to be controlled and audio to be played.

When you pair a headset or any Bluetooth device with your device, a service list is provided. If 'Handsfree' is the only service, then you cannot transmit your Media Player Audio. You will need to see either ''A/V Remote Control' and/or 'Stereo Audio'.

What you are attempting to do is typically only available on high end devices, and not the standard Bluetooth earpiece.

If it is anything like my regular BT headphone performance, I can't imagine wanting to use that for stereo. I have tried 5 of the better BT headsets and they all suck

The best stereo headset I have used is the Motorola S9. I have a Motorola T505 for in the car, and that puppy works b-e-a-utiful.
