What is this?? Can it be? Do we have the new BBM files for the Storm? I believe we do!! A very nice friend who works in the 'UK division' was nice enough to send this over. We have the files for the new BBM for OS's 4.7.1, 4.7, 4.6.1, 4.6.0, 4.5 AND the new 5.0's.
To install just extract the zip file on your computer. Remember the location. Open up Desktop Manager and click on Application Loader. Under Add/Remove Applications press Start. When the screen comes up with all the apps on your device, select Browse and navigate to the folder you extracted from the zip. Choose the BlackBerryMessenger.alx and click next. Then just wait for the phone to reboot and walla, the brand new BBM 5.
Looks good so far. It asked me if I wanted to overwrite a couple of files, and I said yes. I doubt I'll ever use it but the 'bar code' idea is pretty cool.
so found a decent leak version of it for my 8900 and downloaded it. Can't get it to load in the app loader program on desktop manager. i was told to copy and paste the alx file into my OS folder and then copy the .cod files into my JAVA folder....thats where i get lost....any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated
