The premium skin for 8700C does not fit 8700G. WE are working on the premium skin for 8700G. It will be available in about 3 weeks. Will keep you informed.

The original shipping date for 8700G holster was 4/27. However, it has been delayed due to custom clearance. We will ship all the current orders by Monday (5/1) or latest, Tuesday (5/2). Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.
Seidio does not charge the credit card for any order until it is shipped.

And whoever said it was cheap shipping, am I missing something? Standard priority/first class is $8.50? I shipped my Razr, in the original box and all accessories with delivery confirmation and insurance for like $6.50, so $8.50 clearly is not cheap. This thing shouldn't ship in anything more than plastic sleeve in a little box with some bubble rap, AT THE MOST.

Seidio does offer the low cost shipping. The shipping cost for 8700G holster should be around $5.00 to $ 5.50 by USPS shipping method. It will be in a protected box.

David, I apologize - I saw the line item in my online statement and now it's gone; I think that was the initial credit authorization. No charge from seidio has gone through yet.
Regardless, I understand that unexpected things sometimes happen. However, I shouldn't have to post on a public internet message board to get a reply from your company about my order. (To date, nobody has replied to any of my messages since placing my order.)

I am also annoyed with the lack of customer service. I placed my order 4/23 and got an email 4/24 saying the phone was on back order but would ship in 1-2 days. The 3rd day without hearing from them I emailed them back asking them the status of my order because I wam leaving the country for a week. I still have not heard back from them, and IMHO, rightfully annoyed.

Hi,
Where are you sending your messages to? You can send them to me at the email below, or, if they are just general order questions, you can send them to . Hopefully, this helps to clear things up a bit. We are shipping the 8700g holsters TODAY. They had to go through testing to insure the kind of quality that we advertise and that customers should expect from us.
David

Hi chiblackberry,
The automated email you received said: One of the items listed below are on backorder. We try our best to notify anyone who will not be shipping within 1-2 business days of their backorder. We apologize for any misunderstanding and will be changing our email template to be a bit clearer. I certainly can't blame you for being annoyed - I'd just like to know where you sent your email to. If there is a hole in the email system, I need to know and let the IT guys plug it up.

Thanks for the heads-up, David. How will I know if my product ships today? Will you send a confirmation email?

Thanks for the heads up David, I loved my holster for the -c but gave it to my friend and so I've been babying my -g in the launcher the last couple days waiting for the new holster to ship!

fyi...I just got my holster for my 8700c, and never got any kind of e-mail saying it shipped. Last Friday, I looked at my order online (out of curiousity) and it said "complete", and BAM...showed up today.
I had mine 1-2 day Priority Mail shipped.

Same here...had a nice email exchange with David Silver today and he told me that it had shipped...when I got home from work this afternoon, it was on my doorstep.
Case is as nice and the 'Davids' description and The Green Latern's reviews make it out to be. to Seidio! Got my business going forward, that's for sure!!

Excellent review.
Got my holster from Seido for the G today. Very nice.
If it had the little rubber piece for the clip it would be perfect.
