Default Purchase New body, or fix how it is? (Pictures Included)

Please Login to Remove!

Well, I love my Blackberry. However Its gotten to the point where there is so much dust under the screen that I can't even use this phone outside in the sun.

The body is also starting to crack.

My question is, would it be easier to just fix the dust under the screen (The seal is broken), or just buy a new body kit for $40? (Also if I did puchase a new body would the 8330 body work with my 8310?)

Thanks for any help.

Heres the pictures of my phone in its current condition:

I was just contemplating the same thing. I took mine apart to dry it from condensation in the keypad and now there is dust and lint on the screen and under the lens driving me nuts. Since you have to take it apart I would replace the body anyway.

I think the 8330 will fit but the indicator light won't line up. The 8330's light is on the lens right below the 8310's light.

Yep, I ended up buying a new body since I found a steal on eBay. I bought a whole new body for $16 off of eBay, and for $20 off of another site I got a new keyboard, rubber sides, and a new trackball.

I might dig through ebay to see what I can find... $16 is a steal. I might upgrade after the holidays so I want to go as cheap as possible since I might not have the phone for much longer.

It's worth doing the fix....I just redid my 8330 the other day. Pretty simple if you have the tools and patience.

Yes, it will work, if your info is correct (8320). However, it's branded (AT&T Logo), your info shows you have T-Mo. I would recommend looking at dealsishop.com. They have branded, and unbranded. Their products are great quality, and shipping is a flat rate, no matter how much you buy.
I bought White, Black, and Blue from them a couple of weeks ago. (I get bored quick, lol!)
