Is there any way to make the browser go to the full site vs the mobile versions of some site? I can't seem to figure this one out.

Trying 6.0.0.280 again. Everything seems to work fine, except GolfGPS from GolfLogix.com. There seems to be a problem that hasn't been solved yet for it to run on OS 6 for the Bold 9650. Golf season is almost over here anyway.

Yes, it seems I was wrong. I got the update notice on mine and it then told me I was up to date and I got the wrong conclusion from that. Whoops.

A friend of mine said her Camera doesnt work at all. I've had good results with no camera issues, but I had done a complete wipe before installing.

Im not opposed to loading up OS5 (which allowed for MMS) to get them on a backup to restore later in OS6 if that's a potential way around this issue.
Interesting note on this (for anyone else that had this issue and was on USCC), I called Data Services for USCC and let them know about this, I didnt expect a fix so quick but wanted to let them know the issue. Its been a week but the MMS service books were pushed to me today. Problem solved. Liking the new SMS/MMS blended mode.

So after running this release for a few days now, I am really liking it. Navigation and finding your way around the settings menu takes a little getting use to. I did an upgrade from OS 5.x.x The only issue I have had was that I had to delete an old version of App World, my BB had two in listed. I have had no issues with any other apps. My only complaint so far would be webpage loading. Sites with lots of images load slow, not sure if the OS can be optimized or if the CPU is maxed out.

Has anyone else noticed a memory leak? I seem to be going through usable memory quick. Under 5.xxx I had stable memory. I am using less apps on this build but notice that my memory is almost depleted within a day or 2.

anyone having an issue with scrolling down from the top "options" screen.

ie when I click on the top option bar and scroll down to see wireless services, etc...about half the time I loose the curser and the ability to highlight any options. I can get the curser back by going to the home screen and trying again.

It only happens on this screen and I've already done a BBSAK wipe and reload.

Any thoughts?

Just noticed your post.. I had this with a 5.0 release.. I would consider removing some apps you don't use.. Mine did that for a while until it got stuck in the boot process and never fully loaded.

Can't say I've looked at the open memory much, since I even got my 9650 anyway, 256 MB of file free gives you ample breathing room, have noticed since I stopped using the RIM twitter app my memory is higher now. You can always check the Application management screen to see where your memory is being used.

I've had issue where my when I was looking through the options the options would freeze on me and I would have to use to the App switcher to get out of there, perform a battery pull and try again. It has happened a few times to me a battery pull has fixed for me in the past, leaving the battery out for a full minute.

How much memory are you guys seeing after installing 6.0? I am really enjoying all of the breathing room that I have now....6.0 is really going to have to rock my socks off to do this if it is back to the old 15MB free days.

Thanks,
R

Someone correct me if I am wrong on the memory amounts. Application space is 256 MB, RAM is 90 MB. After installin OS6 and my apps, I have 220.3MB off application space left. My RAM seems to be around 50MB free after batter pull then goes down from there the longer the phone is on. There is noting running other than the "base" applications. (at least when I hold down the BB button to switch applications.

I'm not sure if I had it before, but I think Push To Talk was pushed to my phone over the night.

Maybe we're getting closer to an official release?

What other App's are you running? I really can't see how that is possible.

Haven't seen push to talk yet.. but I think it was included in the OS 6 Build I remember seeing it in the App Loader.

I hope they are, this build still has issues though.. I hope they have an updated version out there.
