Default App World 2.0

Please Login to Remove!

I find this kind of underwhelming a few UI changes and a quicker front page, but other then that nada.

Carrier Billing is only available for AT&T customers, and that was the only feature I was looking forward to.

I also wish the Blackberry ID could have been integrated with the BIS account.

On a side note I'd find an application in app world, click on it to see more details about it and the page just never loads, all I see is the green status bar for 5 minutes straight, anyone else see that?

Based on the feedback from a few others, I downgraded back to the original version.

I do have a question about how carrier billing will actually work, though. If I have a family account, with 2 kids having BlackBerry devices, can they just download whatever they want? Are there safeguards in place to prevent that?

Very good point!

I actually don't have a PayPal, and really don't want anything linked to my Bank account, Carrier billing would be so much more convenient.

Juwaack68 - Sprint can block the kid's accounts from being able to purchase things from 3rd party vendors (and from Sprint itself if you want). I had to do that on 6 of the 8 phones on my account. My son purchased about $50 worth of crap on his phone. So I shut off all the phones on my account from being able to do that except for my phone and my wife's phone (I even shut off the ability to buy crap on my in-laws phone)

SteveO86 - I have been running the beta since it became available and have had zero problems with it. I actually find it a bit smoother/quicker when bringing up reviews of apps. I completely removed the old app BEFORE I even tried to install the beta. You may want to try that and see if it makes a difference.

I've been running the beta for 2 days now and I like that it actually properly informs me of updates.

Yesterday I found out that I had to update 4 applications... Here I thought I was running on the bleeding edge, but I was actually just on the handle of the knife.
