Possible to retrieve blocked SMS??

My brother thought it would be funny to block numbers that aren't from my Address book, and deleted some peoples very important phone numbers, so those people's messages were blocked. I realized by checking the Firewall settings, and it said that some SMS are blocked.
Is there any way to retrieve these messages?
