The newest software has been removed from blackberry.com for some reason. Working now to get answers on why.

A bit off-topic, but did anyone notice a difference on the new software?

The only change I noticed was the feature that'll stop prompting before connecting to my headset, which is quite nice.

That feature was already there, however they did improve the BT headset volume. Also there is a new calculator that is much improved. The only other thing I've found is that the BT redial function now works when holstered.

you must have the 7520.
for us 7510 users there was also a new browser. slightly better reception where i used to have dead spots (that could just be a coincidence).

my software version is v4.0.0.249 (platform 1.4.0.40)

Should I upgrade? I just got this phone or email device last week.

Yeah, go to the blackberry 4 OS upgrade thread and download the 4.02 software for the 7520. Better bluetooth, GPS is actually usable with apps, blackberry messenger, new calculator.

Anyone know when BellMobility will have the 4.0.2.37 version?
