Depending on the language of your Windows, the Path might be named different.
But If you search for the Filename on your system disk you should find it.
dont forget to check advanced options and include sytstem and hidden files in your search.

The "loader", commented with "Handheld application loader, Research in motion limited".
from a command window,
run:
Code:
C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe /nojvm

The problem with device backup is most likely due to browser cache; try clearing the browser cache, history and cookies and then attempt backup again.

Are you sure ?
Because: The backup only saves the browsers bookmarks. Cookies, history etc. will not be included in the backup. It sounds unlikely, that something which will not be backuped will lead to a problem.

What kind of life cycle are we looking at here.
i.e., if you had a gun against your head and had to venture a guess, given the pace of previous OS releases, when will this be "official" ???

Hey guys - i'm using OS 5.0 on my Bold and apart from the incompatibilities (I.e. various Instant Messaging applications, Viigo etc) it's run problem free so far.

However Blackberry Maps has disappeared from my phone completely and cannot for the life of me remember how to do it! I know the big whoop about 5.0 was the major improvement/overhaul of BB Maps

Any help would be appreciated

@TallPaul86: I had the same issue (still running 5.0.0.90) and BBMaps wandered away. I checked the Applications screen and saw it was still installed but that the Service Book had escaped. I used DesktopManager to re-install the service book from a previous PRE-5.0 backup. That seems to have fixed it.

Otherwise all my other tricks and techniques didn't work.

I've got a Rogers supplied Bold and there's nothing wrong with any of the "regular" stuff that I've got installed. I've got none of the issues that anyone mentions earlier and I REALLY need that alarm clock when I'm travelling.

Note : The sounds all behave differently under 5.0 depending on profile, holster, and even power connection (charging stand or usb cable)
