Right, I installed "Blackberry Messenger" on my Blackberry Curve 8520, and it installed into the "Applications" folder on my Blackberry, but it says it is called "Blackberry PIN" instead of "Blackberry Messenger", and the layout of my "Blackberry Messenger" is different to other people's layout that I have seen. I have attached an image that shows the layout of my Blackberry Messenger, please could someone let me know whether the picture shows a normal layout for Blackberry Messenger?

Looks normal. Although almost all the IM applications look the same now.

What happens when you press Menu, select Options, press Menu again, and select "About BlackBerry Messenger"?

Sounds about right. Where did you download BBM from?

Looks normal to me. BBM/Pin is the same thing.
