Guys

I have a profile on MSN IM that I am trying to use on my BB 8900, however, it fails to connect. It goest through the motion, when I click on the icon, and it says "connecting", but then it fails to connect and comes back with some error message about not being able to connect. I have the unlimited data plan, so why would this be happening?

Any ideas?

I believe everyone - or the majority of everyone is having the problem that use WLM. A simple fix is to use a third party application. Do a search for one...(i think beehive is the popular one, also instango)

I had the same problem with the 8320 as now my 8900. Though - it seems im connecting at least 75% of the time now vs a month ago where it was impossible.

I had the standalone app for MSN and had the same problem on a Curve. Then I loaded the IM Suite from T-Mobile. It has ICQ, MSN, Yahoo and Google all in one. It works fine. Don't go the third party route.
