Guys,

I just want to throw my bb to the wall, i still dont understand why i dont have internet not BIS or BES i activated my GPRS or DATA PLAN on my bb, i have HRT, i have EDGE in UPPERCASE but i cant connect to internet.. i dont have service book, because i dont have BIS, i need to have internet so i can activate my BIS.. dont know what to do, plz some of you experts help me plz.. OH GREAT ONES...!

You will need a BIS acccount/BlackBerry Data Plan for full internet, browser and email capability.

Welcome to BBF.

You can't use a standard gprs data plan on the Blackberry for BIS.

You need to call your carrier and have them add a "Blackberry Data Plan." Once that plan is added you will have BIS access.

Welcome to the forums manticon! Ok, deep breath...

If you have a data plan but not a BB Data Plan BIS/BES this is the place to start. (You will not be able to use the native BB Browser without a BIS or BES plan but you can use 3rd party browsers)

guys you think it could be a IT POLICY restriction that is not allowing me to have active gprs, this phone was an ATT blackberry i bought it brand new never used

Please read above. Do you have a "Blackberry data plan?". You MUST have a blackberry data plan. A gprs plan WILL NoT work!!
