Okay, I think I'm going crazy.
I downloaded PM for my PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz running 10.4.8. Plugged in my BB and the BB says there's not enough power to charge and the mac won't recognize the connection. From what I've read, nobody else seems to be having this problem. All I want to do is get my phone numbers. And vCards from gmail to my bb.net account don't work either. What is wrong with me? Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

do you have a media card in the device? If so, then syncing usually doesnt work with PM. Try taking it out then trying to sync to PM.

Aha. For some reason the cord that shipped with my pearl is messed up. I tried a USB->mini USB cable that came with a camera I have and it works fine. I guess I can put away the pitchforks and torches. Thanks for the help.

Sometimes if you just hit the escape button on the phone it will clear that warning also do you have a password set on your BB?

I *always* get this issue the 1st time I connect.
Just unplug wait 5 seconds, plug back in. Youll be OK.
