Default font bug

how do the themes available on mobile.blackberry.com (pixelistic - Icon for the 7520) differ from the home made themes here in this thread? I notice that the theme is made by Plazmic and so is the theme reader.

I noticed that the download theme works without the theme reader installed on the BB and the font problem isn't a problem on the downloaded theme.

Are there any other templates that we can customize with plaszmic Theme Builder? We are able to customize our themes but its still seem limited to one theme technically that we're changing over and over but over all little things like where the signal stregnth and time and battery life are still positioned in the same place>...

Post H@nD@ng0

Is everyone aware that many of the themes posted here for free are for sale on H@nD@ng0? I'm just curious if they were sold to them with the rights for resale, or is something nefarious at play?

Side Note - I myself am extremely grateful for the posts here, Krad, SRL7741, mrogers, you guys are very talented and more than admirable for sharing. I'm a photoshop-junkie myself and will soon post a few to breach from leech.

Thanks,

I agree, thank you for taking the time to create these themes for everyone to use. I have been toying around with Plazmic and almost have a good one completed. I have one question though. I do not have photoshop or any descent editing software. If I provided a background image, would anyone be willing to use that as the background for a theme using all the default colors (blue) that are in Plazmic but making the icons trasparent when not highlighted over? That would be sweet.

Thank you mrogers for your efforts. Thanks to the other theme builders as well. There are not too many themes yet for the 7520, but I appreciate any new postings for the 7520. I am also downloading all the other themes for my next blackberry device. Thanks again,

Steve

honestly, i think anyone who charges for these themes is a scumbag.

I will see what i can do about zipping them all up and uploading them somewhere today or tommorrow.

i will be working on a 007 theme very shortly.

Default Green Buttons

Someone has asked for these. I prefer the 8700 style buttons and they work fine on the both the 8700 and 7100 (and 7200) as long as you tile them correctly.

This pair is intended for the Halo and Matrix like themes.

PNG24 format. Right-click and save to your PC as a *.png file for use in the theme builder.

I couldn't agree with you more Krad. Looking forward to your new releases. Currently theme-ing 'bliss'fully!

I may be lost here but you posted a question regarding data retrieval in the thread for Ringtones, Themes, and Wallpapers. Try checking out one of the other threads like 7100 General Discussion or RIM Software. Also try searching.

Desert Dog posted these links in another thread. You can see them and take some ideas for icons.

you can't inter-change the themes between devices. A theme has to be made for either the 8700 series or the 7200/7500 series. That's why you will see the same theme but for different devices on this thread. There are many 8700 themes avaialbe in this thread...

You're posting in the one that has all the images and links but I think this is the one you want.
