Was browsing through the forums and saw the post that said to hit ALT-NMLL to turn the bar graph display of signal strength into a numeric display. Tried it on my 7100t and it didn't work. Thinking that maybe this might be subject to the multitap input method, I held down the ALT key and hit the BN key twice, then the M key then the L key twice -- lo and behold! -- my signal strength now shows a numeric value! Apparentlyit IS subject to multitap, eh?

So: ALT-(BN)(BN)MLL toggles between bar graph and numeric signal strength.

only thing that sucks is that it resets to bars when I sync with desktop manager.

I just synced and it didn't change back on me. I'm running 4.0 with BWC.

Should be mentioned the lower the number - the better the signal.

Numbers are tiny though, hard to see what you have at a glance.
