Default Blacked out my BlackBerry Bold 9000

Please Login to Remove!

Well the LCD on my Bold decided to take a turn for the worse (white screen of death/static/flashing), so I ordered up a new one from Hong Kong. While it was apart, I felt the need to blacken things up. I think it turned out nicely? What do you think?

Very nice, I like it. I like it a lot. Such a pity we can't change the trackball for a touchpad too

Yes, I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome of this project. I'll be doing the same matte black housing type project on my 9700 soon.

Any pictures of the back or did you just use the OEM battery cover? I really want an all black back but don't want to do the metal ones for fear of poor signal and I can't find any others I like without the metal part being silver.

I just used the OEM battery door. It doesn't look too bad actually. I actually think the silver chrome in the right places accents the black very nicely.

Nice hijack. What does ANY if this have to do with blacking out a Bold? (that's what this thread is about). Either start a new thread or find a thread that's similar to your problem.

Hijacking is bad form.
