Question: do you think its easy/possible to take off the colorware logo? I have been THINKING about getting a backplate to contrast with my black bold (Probably white with black camera bezel) but I really don't like that logo. I would almost be inclined to get a local artist to just paint it for me.

their logo is raised not just paint...doesnt bother me cause its small and very low on the back

cool thanks. I am looking into some bike painters in and around Toronto. I figure automotive paint will be more scratch resistant, I will have more choice as well. The question is how much will it cost compared to colorware.

I just spoke to a local Toronto downtown motorcycle painter. He quoted me $30-$40 for pearl white and black for camera bezel.

He actually said " I know it seems steep but I'm mixing $20 worth of paint for the job" so that means $40 is on the high side!

Lets say $40 plus $25 for the cover from cnn.cn.

I consider this a way better deal, plus I'm sure you can pick from a heck of a lot more colors.

try out berryware.ca , you keep your phone, you place the order and they ship out the painted part, your original part does not get touched and if you are not satisfied they will offer full refund

sounds good but colorware finish is far superrior ...for $65 cdn i would do a bezel, back, buttons etc.

i agree colorware is expensive!
