Default Storm Touchscreen "Realignment"?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 9530 and have had nothing but a great experience with it (with the occasional reboot) until recently. My touchscreen has started to act like a regular old touchscreen, meaning that I don't have to push the screen in order to activate what I am hovering on...the icon will activate simply by hovering. I took it to the Verizon store and they said that my screen was probably out of alignment. The only option for them was to replace the phone (sadly, its out of warranty). Is there any way this thing can be "realigned", or does Verizon even know what they're talking about?

Oh, and doing a battery pull reboot doesn't help. Neither does changing the screen sensitivity, etc.
