We recently just got our first Tour in the company, and being a CDMA shop it's my first experiences dealing with the 4.6/4.7 OS(since corporate policy says no Storm).
The user wants to change the call log settings where it displays only a single line, and not a 2 line contact + phone number.
The main reason for this is that he has his Voice mail set up to input his password automatically, and in the 2 line approach his password is visible in the call log.
Is there a way to change the view of the call log, or a way just to hide the password from showing in the log when dialing voicemail?
I'm sorry to say this is not configurable at this time. Maybe in a future OS release, but for now the default view is the only view. Seems strange that it's not customizable like the messages folder view, but unfortunately it is not.
One (weak) solution would be to stop calling voicemail and start using Visual Voicemail. Problem is that this costs money, at least with Verizon. About 2.99 a month?
