hello i have 1 bb strom 9500 its old v4 os now i want to upgrade to 5.0 but its not upgrading . i have already deleted vender xml but dont know why i got error like
"the blackberry deckstop software does not have blackberry device software for the device that you have connected to the computer .contact your wireless service provider or system administrator"

please kindly tell me what i can do

at startup this device shows " Not for Sale" may be its a prototype but must have any way to upgrade it?

Look at Options > About and tell me exactly the model number listed on the first line.
