As the title suggests, i was wondering how you prefer to search for apps?

Do you use the App world app on your BB?
Or do you login to the App World on the BB Website?

I would use both depending on where i am, ususally if im at home i'll search online as i find it easier to search for that way, but if im out and about i'll use the phone.

I mostly use my BlackBerry to access App World, but I have occasionally used my Mac laptop, in spite of the warnings about an "incompatible operating system", to see what's offered. Once you click past the warning message in Safari you have no trouble browsing the app catalogue.

I prefer to install apps by going to the developers website I trust and installing OTA without the need for App World. The only time I have used App World was to install BB protect(at the time, couldn't find any other way) and then removed App World. I'm probably unique in my approach but it serves my needs well.

Since I am in the big sandbox I don't really have a choice but to look for them online with my PC. I write down the ones I want then when I go on R&R I download them via OTA.
