Default MSN Messenger "Mobile" displays next to screen name

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm a new user......I have the BB Curve 8900

Is there any way to remove the "(Mobile)" indication that displays next to your MSN Messenger Name, i.e., "MYNAME (Mobile)"? I don't want to exactly announce I'm on my Mobile when I sign on to messenger. I couldn't find the setting to turn this off.

Oh, that really STINKS. Why did they do that?

If anyone else knows of a solution to turn off the "mobile" indication....please post it.

Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000)

They probably did it so your friends will know your on a mobile, which may charge you each message, and not spam you.
